Advertisements Appearing in Incorrect Categories

I’m writing this from the perspective of someone who is primarily interested in worlds, both as a consumer and as a developer whose business focuses on world creation.

Currently, when I open the “Worlds“ tab, I only see a single row of four products, and three of those are avatars being advertised in the worlds category.


From a consumer perspective, this content is irrelevant to what I am looking for when browsing worlds.

From a seller and developer perspective, this also creates an issue: when I want to promote a world I’ve made, I’m forced to compete for ad placement with avatar creators who are advertising in a category that doesn’t match their product.
This drives competition toward higher ad prices while reducing visibility for actual world content.

Overall, this results in a confusing experience for both buyers and sellers.


Would it be possible to restrict advertisements so they can only appear in categories that match the product type?

    Have 'Boosted' avatars respect Avatar Categories

    When I browse the Anthro/Furry category, I’m looking for Furry content… not boosted Human avatars cluttering the top row. It’s not what I want at that moment and it’s not going to lead to a sale.

    Boosted content should respect avatar category filters.

    The fact that it doesn't just feels like poor targeting that adds noise, wastes bandwidth, and makes me feel like Jinxxy isn't remotely interested in trying to help me find what I’m looking for.

    Please prioritise relevance over generic promotion, it's a better experience for everyone.

    Im adding on as someone who will browse more of the Avatar side in terms of categories.

    I've come across this twice now where I'll see what I assume is an avatar, has it preview hidden being promoted in the avatar section. Being curious ill show it (expecting an avatar) and be shown an animal genitalia instead as an avatar attachment.

    Obviously not categorized correctly and something I personally didnt want to see or expected to see there.

    On top of that having assets being promoted in the avatar section is also driving the already very high demand up there.

    However this isnt a super common issue in this category

    And Im not saying the avatar section particular is being heavy affected by this

    And clearly the other sections are getting hit the hardest (the world's one being the biggest)

    But I definitely think avatars, Assets and, world's

    Should not be allowed to be promoted in categories that are not relating to them as it causes unnecessary demand increases when trying to promote in their respective categories.

      Seconding this, for reasons stated here. I keep getting genitalia and NSFW systems that I really don’t want to see as promoted items in categories that don’t match what I’m searching for.
