Better file management (subfolders and manual sorting)

I am offering a huge number of files for my product and not being able to put them into folders or subcategories and not being able to manually control the sorting order is quite messy and makes it hard to find the right file for everything.

Of course I could pack multiple files into ZIP archives to reduce the total number of individual files and I already did this in some cases, but sometimes I am just updating a single asset and in this case I would have to pack and upload a big archive again and again.

I know that an updated creator dashboard is already being worked on and I hope that improved file management will be part of it.

Files & Content page - Folders and Page Tabs

The current contents page lacks the ability to properly organize and group files together. Being able to have sub folders and ideally different tabs to organize all the files would greatly help keep stuff more clear and organized (E.G, Folder for texture files, Folder for Unity files, Folder for Misc files). Having page tabs which you can store these in would also allow for better documentation associated with the files, the current text field results in a info dump and causing people to search through it to find the information they are after.

I was just about to make a post on this as well. My products usually have a LOT of different files, and I like to keep the old versions available for download. For me, having a folder that is labeled "OLD" or another one that says "START HERE" would greatly help prevent my customers from getting confused. For now my only solution is to put a version number on each file and hope they understand they should only be picking up the latest version. Additionally, I sometimes have products that have many of a particular type of file. In one particular case, a lot of different FBX files. My current solution is to zip them up together, but it would be better to have each file in a folder named "FBX Files".

A little sad to see to see this request unmarked, I was hoping this was being worked on. I am about to post my first product on this platform and I already can tell plenty of customers will get lost in these unorganized files; I already am.

Lack of sorting means the oldest product versions will be at the top and in my experience this leads to customers not getting the newest version.

I would love to be able to organize my files in the same way that I can for products on gumroad!
