Request to Add Email Banning and Access Revocation Features on Jinxxy
I’d like to request two key features on Jinxxy that I previously found incredibly useful on Gumroad: the ability to ban specific email addresses and to revoke access to purchased products. As someone who sells digital avatars, I’ve faced challenges with customers who have leaked my content. Unfortunately, on Jinxxy, there’s no way to stop these individuals from purchasing more or accessing previously bought items. Implementing these features would help us protect our work more effectively and reduce the likelihood of a product getting leaked.

This feature is available on every other platform I’ve used so far EXCEPT jinxxy. While I understand some people may abuse this, or it could be worked around easily with a new email, it is still essential for legal purposes. I can’t believe this post is a year old with so many votes.

This feature needs to be added. The request already has over 130 upvotes and has been pending for almost two years now. It’s an important tool for protecting creators. Features like this help prevent leaking, ripping, and targeted review bombing from people acting in bad faith. Other platforms like Gumroad, Payhip, and Sellfy already offer this protection. Without it, creators are left exposed, which discourages many of us from using your platform at all.
From my perspective, it sends the message that revenue matters more than the people who generate it. That feels unethical and undermines trust with the creators who rely on your service.
I understand that some customers may have concerns about potential misuse of this feature. However, I would be completely willing to submit a form each time I revoke access to a paid product, along with proof that the customer was leaking, ripping, or obtaining the product through illegal means. For staff to review said form on why it was revoked.
This kind of safeguard would protect both creators and legitimate customers, while bringing your platform in line with the standards already set by other marketplaces.
